Urban Wilderness Works

Urban Wilderness WORKS, a WA state non-profit continues the legacy of wilderness and storytelling opportunities in the Seattle region; Urban Wilderness PROJECT™, developing curriculum for a changing society; and coming soon, the Urban & Wilderness LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE, a national collective bringing together the resources and expertise of individuals to benefit their communities.

Urban Wilderness WORKS to restore our communities, cultural and environment by creating access to service-learning projects rooted in social change. Participants earn service-learning hours through the Wilderness Works and Griot Works programs.

Urban Wilderness WORKS is community based, volunteer supported organization designed to create equity by engaging and empowering under-served people of African, Asian, Latino, and Native descent.
